Subscription & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains trials, paid-tier status, recurring billing, plan changes, cancellation, and how billing concerns are handled.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Plan selection and consent

Before checkout, Naara displays the selected plan, billing interval, price, trial terms when applicable, and the date or condition that begins paid billing. By completing checkout, the authorised purchaser agrees to those displayed terms on behalf of the organization.

Plan features and limits are versioned so the organization's subscription record can remain connected to the offer it accepted, even if Naara later publishes a new version for future customers.

Trials and paid-tier commitment

Trial eligibility and duration may vary by plan or organization. A paid plan selected through checkout is treated as the organization's subscribed tier even when a trial delays the first charge. During that period, billing records may show an active or trialing subscription with no amount collected yet.

Unless the offer states otherwise, the subscription begins recurring paid billing when the trial ends. The checkout page identifies the amount, interval, and expected first billing date before confirmation.

Recurring billing and payment processing

Paid subscriptions renew on the monthly or annual interval selected at checkout until cancelled. Stripe processes subscription payments and stores payment credentials through its secure payment services; Naara does not receive full card numbers.

The organization is responsible for keeping its billing contact and payment method current. Taxes may be added where required and will be shown through the applicable billing experience.

Plan changes

Upgrades, downgrades, or billing-interval changes use the price and effective terms shown when the change is confirmed. The billing experience will indicate whether a charge, credit, proration, trial change, or future-period change applies.

Downgrading does not intentionally delete organization data. If existing usage exceeds a lower plan's limits, some additions or actions may be restricted until usage or the plan is adjusted.

How to cancel

An authorised organization user can cancel recurring billing through the billing controls provided in Naara or the Stripe-hosted billing portal. If those controls are unavailable, contact Naara support before the next renewal date.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless the checkout terms or applicable law require otherwise, access generally continues through the end of the paid billing period. A trial cancelled before its scheduled first charge will not convert to paid billing.

Refunds, credits, and billing errors

Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where the purchase terms, a written Naara commitment, or applicable law requires a refund. Naara may issue a discretionary credit or refund without creating an obligation to do so in another case.

Report suspected duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorised billing promptly. We will review the subscription and payment records and correct confirmed billing errors.

Price and policy changes

Naara may change pricing for a future billing period after providing appropriate notice to affected organizations. A price change does not retroactively alter a completed payment.

We may update this policy as billing functionality develops. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, and the updated date will appear on this page.
